Created by the U.S. Department of Defense and released in July 1964, this black-and-white documentary recounts the tense events of the Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962 — the 13 days that brought the United States and the Soviet Union to the brink of nuclear war.
Following the film, Martha DeMarre will share additional historical insights about the crisis and lead a live audience Q&A discussing the global tensions, political decisions and lasting impact of this pivotal Cold War moment.
