Atomic Museum Education Programs

Atomic Museum education programs connect students with Nevada’s nuclear history and the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math. The Atomic Museum offers two different education experiences:

Atomic Explorers is a self-led visit to the museum that can be supplemented with educational materials focused on STEM and history designed by the Atomic Museum. Atomic Explorers is open to all ages and can be requested Monday through Thursday. Start time is at 9:30am and educators should plan to spend at least 90 minutes in the museum. A maximum of 60 students may participate per day.

Future Fusions is a two-hour guided tour hosted by the Atomic Museum team. These programs are limited to only select Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Future Fusions is only available to students in Grade 4 and above. Run time is from 9:30am to 11:30am. A maximum of 60 students may participate per day. Based on attendance, students may be divided into subgroups.

Pricing for both Atomic Explorers and Future Fusions is $6 per K-12 student in Nevada and $10 for out of state and university students. All programs must be pre-arranged. A $100 deposit is required to complete your booking and full pre-payment is required two weeks before the scheduled program. Please complete the form and the Atomic Team will be in touch!
