History and Science Collide at the Atomic Museum!
The Atomic Museum fosters understanding of Nevada’s atomic past, present, and future and inspires wonder and curiosity in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM).
Field Trips
Atomic Explorers is a self-led field trip experience open to all ages that can be requested Monday through Friday. Visits can be supplemented with educational resources focused on STEAM and history on the Atomic Museum website or paired with classroom curriculum. Program start time is at 9:30am and educators should plan to spend at least 90 minutes in the museum.
A maximum of 70 students may participate per day. Advance registration is required and must be arranged by filling out the request form here or via the button at the bottom of this page. The form also contains answers to most questions on pricing and policies and other important information. The Atomic Museum will contact you via email from education@atomicmuseum.vegas to confirm your visit details and estimated costs. We hope to see you and your students at the Atomic Museum!
- The $120 nonrefundable deposit is applied towards the total cost of your field trip which can be paid in advance or at the Atomic Museum box office upon arrival.
- Education rates are $6 per K-12 student in Nevada and $10 for out of state and university students.
- Educators and chaperones must also purchase tickets at the associated rate of their group.
- A total cost estimate will be shared with you based on the information provided in this form. Actual charges may vary based on attendance.
- Education rates are only offered for pre-arranged field trips and not available for walk-up purchase.
- $120 is the minimum charge for all field trips regardless of participation numbers.
- We are unable to provide partial refunds to groups that choose to fully pre-pay in advance.
- Refunds for fully prepaid field trips must be requested two weeks prior to your scheduled visit and will not include the $120 nonrefundable deposit.
- The Atomic Museum reserves all rights to refuse service or cancel programs. Availability is subject to change.
