Exploring the Invisible

Designed for students in grades 6–12, Exploring the Invisible combines an interactive museum tour with a hands-on science experiment, sparking curiosity in STEAM and history. Best of all, this engaging 2.5-hour program is offered at no cost and includes transportation support.

Exploring the Invisible is a no-cost, two-and-a-half-hour guided field trip for middle and high school students. Participants take an educator-led tour of the Atomic Museum exhibits and spend hands-on time with the Desert Research Institute conducting experiments to explore the science of radiation.

The program is offered on select days at the Atomic Museum and Desert Research Institute campus and is available by reservation only, with educators and chaperones participating alongside students.
